2009 NJ Incumbent Politicians List
Have you heard of GRIP? ......No? Well let me tell you what it is and how important it can be to you and me. GRIP stands for Get Rid of Incumbent Politicians. It's a voters most powerful tool and one of the most important rallying calls a united citizenry can use. This is our way of saying, if you're not part of the solution in our state, then you're part of the problem, and you need to get out of the feeding pool. All Incumbents running in the November election, and looking for a repeat performance to your wallet, are on the list for GRIP. This includes everyone from your local Mayor to your Assembly, your Senators to our Governor. From Corzine to Malone and Cody and Booker, when it's their time - no one should be safe. There are no favorites when you GRIP. No matter how much you may like you person from your district and think they deserve to be there, let me tell you right upfront - NO, you're wrong. Remember who these incumbents actually are.....they all voted themselves raises when we were getting decreases and being laid off. They voted for tax increases, registration increases, automobile ticket increases, NJ exit tax, an additional hotel, motel and car tax, and added cameras to traffic lights to earn more money for the towns on your back. They voted to borrow more money than even your children's children can pay back, and act like it's nothing and they are doing you a favor. They wanted to raise tolls, cut back your services, continue entitlements, endorse pay-to-play (you pay me, I'll pay you). They give jobs to their family members and friends, to earn pensions and life time benefits from your pocket and my pocket. I can go on and one, but I'll let you go on and on, and ask you to take an honest look at your life and see how your favorite Incumbent has really helped you. Just because they may come to your clubhouse, library or local diner to say "Hi", doesn't mean they're cool. It means he/she is running for election and want to sugar up - because they know that's what you like and want to hear. Any politician in office today has done NOTHING to help change the course of this Titanic ship we call New Jersey. They've done nothing to head us in a safer direction. Incumbents have had their shot to make a difference, yet they've done little to nothing, and now they want to go back and do more of nothing! The audacity NJ politicians have! Now you may say "My person is a good person, why should I vote them out"? Why does everyone think their representative is good? Let me bring you back to reality.
· Have you been one of those unfortunate people who received "That" letter from your electric company telling you if you use too many kilowatt hours your bill will sky rocket - which I call gouging the customer with the permission of our elected officials. · Aren't you paying that additional 1% sales tax increase we voted for in the last election thinking 1/2% of that would come back to us, the homeowners, as property tax relief ...... what....they said they needed it for something else?? Ah yes, of course. · Doesn't your wallet feel all those new minor taxes? How about all the new fees and surcharges? I know mine does. · Even though the citizens spoke up to our elected officials and said "No New Tolls", gosh darn it if it didn't go up anyway, but it came down from the Turnpike Commission itself! I don't know about you, but it seemed to me like our elected officials didn't want to get their hands dirty ..... those little dickens. In case you haven't noticed the cost of this increase, click here -> Toll Increase · I can go on and on and on, but I'll let you do that because I'm sure if you take a second and think about it, you'll have a list, too. Then I want you to remember how you think your favorite elected official is so good. GRIP can only work if we are united in its use, so my fellow Save NJ Now readers, our rallying cry for this November election needs to be GRIP! And we will GRIP until we, the citizens of NJ, are heard! Below is the list of your NJ 2009 Incumbents Find Yours and Show Them You Mean Business - GRIP Them!! |
